About
I aim to work with you to support your journey towards growth, development, and flourishing. I offer a holistic approach in all I do, considering the deep connection between our emotions, relationships, bodies, and sense of self. In my services, I consider all these elements to help you get where you want to be, whether participating in short-term counselling, open-ended psychotherapy, or one of our compassion-focused self-education courses. I am also connected to a network of professionals offering complementary therapies and services, including Yoga, Reiki, and Mindfulness, introducing you to these services when and where we believe they could support your journey.

I believe in the power of connection, understanding, and growth. During my professional experience, as a third-year trainee at Newman University, completing an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, I bring a breadth of knowledge and understanding to working with clients. I am a registered Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and have a trainee psychotherapist status with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
I'm deeply rooted in phenomenological, somatic, and emotion-focused knowledge, providing a holistic approach to therapy. My journey began with a focus on relational and humanistic approaches, and over time, my training expanded to encompass psychodynamic and Gestalt principles. An integrative approach allows me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and preferences. Whether we're exploring managing anxiety, navigating past difficulties, embracing change, or fostering personal flourishing, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Beyond academia, I have 10 years of experience developing and delivering social and emotional education courses. This hands-on experience has enriched my practice, allowing me to integrate psychoeducational skills seamlessly into our work together. This might involve understanding how our needs, sensations, and feelings work or learning self-regulation skills to help manage anxiety.
Additionally, as a qualified cognitively based Compassion Training (CBCT) facilitator, I'm passionate about cultivating compassion, self-compassion, self-nurturance, and greater awareness of self and others. These tools, along with my 20 years as a meditation practitioner and 10 years of meditation teaching, form the foundation of our journey towards healing and self-discovery.
It's not solely about the sessions; it's about fostering a secure environment for exploration, learning, and growth. I am grateful to accompany you on this journey towards wholeness and wellness. Together, let's begin this path.
