Education
Thanks to our partnership with Emory University's Centre for Contemplative Science and Compassion, we currently offer a range of resources and training opportunities for organisations, adults and children.
Social and Emotional Learning for Children and Young People
I provide Social and Emotional Learning resources and training via the SEE Learning curriculum. Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is an educational framework that helps individuals develop the skills to understand and manage their emotions, build healthy relationships, and make responsible decisions. SEL focuses on five core competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Through structured lessons and practices, participants learn to communicate effectively, empathize with others, and handle challenges constructively. By fostering emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, SEL supports personal growth, academic success, and positive contributions to the community.
I have 10 years of experience working with educators, youth workers, social workers, parents and leaders, providing a compassion-focused way for adults and children to develop critical skills for now and the future. To find out more about SEE Learning, please visit www.seelearning.org.uk.

Compassion Training for Individuals
Cognitively Based Compassion Training (CBCT) is a structured, evidence-based program designed to cultivate compassion through the deliberate use of contemplative practices and cognitive exercises. Rooted in ancient Tibetan Buddhist traditions but adapted for secular use, CBCT helps individuals develop greater empathy, kindness, and emotional resilience. By focusing on enhancing awareness, fostering self-compassion, and cultivating a deeper understanding of others’ experiences, CBCT encourages participants to reframe their thoughts and respond to challenges with greater care and connection. This practice not only benefits personal well-being but also strengthens relationships and fosters a sense of interconnectedness with others.

I am a trained and experienced mindfulness and CBCT facilitator who has adapted CBCT for use in several organisational settings. I run regular online and face-to-face classes for the public and groups throughout the year. If you have any questions about our compassion training courses or would like to find out more, please get in touch.
